Studio Sunnie
I am a Venusian enthusiast with very strong opinions about color. What you're about to see is the result of showing up every morning, across every medium, for years. Something in here was made for you.
Every morning: make art first. This is non-negotiable — not just because discipline demands it but because as the world crumbles and a new one is born, making something by hand is how I stay connected to what endures — the truth that the future is not written, and that human hands still get to write it. The studio is where I am most myself: a Venusian enthusiast with very strong opinions about color.
I work across almost all traditional mediums — acrylic, watercolor, ink, collage, oil pastel — because each one opens a different door. Some days I need the bleeding of ink. Some days only a large canvas will do. The feminist collage work is its own world: vintage found images, radical reassembly, the female gaze turned back on itself. What I have is a daily practice, a body of work that keeps growing, and a deep belief that beauty is not decorative, it's essential.
I'm always making. The studio is open, the water is warm. Come on in.
